Title: billet triples / need a pattern
Post by: Turin on July 16, 2025, 01:15:19 PM
I'm looking to borrow (or buy) a set of lemans 1000 triples. I'm looking to have a set of reduced offset trees made for the long term, never finished project. My machinist needs something to pattern off of. The new clamps will look somewhat like this, maybe a touch fancier.

The pattern clamps can be junk, as I'm not putting them on a bike.

Thanks!

Hi [Turin] -

Can't help you with this project but I have a curious question -

Is your machinist going to map this out the traditional way, or laser scan?

Thanks, have fun -
Norman

The caliper brackets were 3d printed in plastic, test fit and then machined. I'm not sure on how the sausage is made.

The other stuff he's made for me...
