Hi all. Just trying to find a fair value for a 2013 Griso Tenni , 6K mi. , dealer rollerized , generally excellent condition. I know the Tenni is pretty rare and brings more money I just don't know how much. Thanks
-
Average 500mi a year, whats not to like. There is only so many Tenni's, they don't pull any more money than a plain Griso.
-
That's like saying a Coppa Italia is just a V11. While that may be correct, yet they always bring more money than a "plain" V11.
-
About $6k I would venture.

Yeah, I sold a Copa a few years ago for nearly 3 times what the average V11 was going for. Thats why I'm asking about the Tenni. I believe the Tenni was offered 2 yrs. and probably a lot more of them than the Copa which of course affects value.

Asking price is $7.5K . I haven't seen it yet so I can't say anything about condition.

Tenni Green and brown seat one of the all time great color combos.

That's a sporty price for any Griso nowadays, with ~6K being the top of the market price for a perfect example. But if you have Tenni lust whats an extra 1000 or so to get one? I have always wanted a Tenni and even had Enzo price all the Tenni bits when they were still available to convert my Red Devil. It would have cost 3K. I decided I didn't want a Tenni that badly.

I think the Teni will always bring more $ than the other Griso models. I know I wouldn't take a penny less than $7000 for mine, and it's not for sale. Fancy, limited edition paint jobs always command more money whether it's a Moto Guzzi, Harley Davidson or a Ducati. Look no farther than the Ducati Sport Classic models. I sold my Sport 1000 SE for several thousands over what I paid for it. It's the same for V11 Nero Corsa and Rosso Corsa models, clean ones always sell quicker and for a little more than the other V11s. Some people can see through the fancy paint and arn't willing to pay any extra for one. Others just gotta have it no matter what the price. I'm shallow that way.

Back in 2018, I bought a 2015 Red Devil Griso with all 3 bags, rear wheel stand with only 572 miles for $8500 from a friend who couldn't ride any more. A fair deal would have been $9500 perhaps, but friends do friends favors.
Today I'd venture my Griso with 12K miles is not worth more than $5-6K on the market. Hence my estimate of $6K for the Tenni, which I agree is quite beautiful...almost as good looking as the Red Devil! :)
A Tenni may fetch $7K for someone truly intent on that color combo...worthwhile to hop over to Griso Ghetto and do a search on recent sales on Tenni's to see what they fetched.

Sell unique bikes on Bring-a-trailer. They can be a PITA to deal with (they want 65 to 70 photos... it's a motorcycle, not Buckingham Palace)but sales always go for top dollar. Go look at their recent auctions if you don't believe me.

The difference on the V11s is the Ohlins suspension, not the special paint. The special, limited edition paint is nice, but... The reason the Rosso Corsa, Nero Corsa and Coppa Italia command more money is mostly due to the very nice Ohlins suspension.

...true, and the Scura also had the Ohlins setup from the factory. A friend had a Coppa a few years ago for sale, I should have bought it then...it went for I think $8K while Scuras were running for $5K...but it was in pristine condition...absolut ely spotless.

I was going to bring up the ohlins too. The rosso and nero corsa's look neat, but that checkered flag is a decal under clearcoat, not paint. The Coppa Italia paint job is one of the prettiest I've seen on a Guzzi, and I generally don't care for tri-colore livery.
I can see the Griso Tenni being worth a few more $. I'd guess that guy is out there.

Yeah. I guess I mis-spoke a bit. Scura and Cafe Sport had the Ohlins and bland paint, and sell for less than the Rosso/Nero/Coppa. So the paint does help price, I guess.
Scura was the first with Ohlins and wasn't set up for Americans, so usually required some spring rate changes. The Cafe/Rosso/Nero/Coppa were much closer, though I did have to put a heavier rear spring on my Nero.

Ya, its worth a few bucks more I would say. How much more is based on how much a Tenni makes your palms itch.

All the Griso's look much better with a rear fender eliminator. The gigantic hunk of black plastic drooping down is a buzz kill.
I'd post pictures of a DIY version but this site is so amazingly clunky after about 14 attempts and 20 minutes of trying I give up.

UPDATE: Just to let you know, I did buy the bike. At $7K maybe a little above market price. In my defense the original owner
spent a lot on this bike . Matris suspension on both ends , Mistral slip on , a dealer loaded fuel map with before and after
DynoTune dyno runs. The bike was 400 mi. from me so I drove up and got it , no shipping hassels. It has been sitting awhile and
will need a full service but I think it will be a good one. I would post pics but I've never been able to do that on this site. Thanks to
everyone for your advice.

That's great! Congratulations!
Just email the pictures to me and I will post them for you. w9eu@hotmail.com You will need to stave this off! :gotpics:

You now have a very unique motorcycle, and indeed, one that sounds like it has been well set up.
-
The veil has been lifted. You did good clubman! Maybe I will call Enzo and see if any of the Tenni bits are still available.

Nice that the suspension is set up and the engine dyno tuned.
It should be a great ride!
