Title: V85TT Electical connector question
Post by: DesertPilot on July 30, 2025, 08:10:35 PM
Does anyone know the manufacturer, part number, or a source for the round 2-row 3-pin connector that connects the front brake switch to the wiring harness?  I can't see anything that looks like it in any of the Molex catalogs I've found.  Alternatively, does anyone know which of the many possible tools one wants to remove and replace the pins?  I need to swap in a new micro switch and I'd prefer to avoid cutting the leads from the old switch to splice in leads from the new one.

You may want to try TYCO connectors and ebay sells sets of pin release tools cheap. Got a Pic of this animal?

The replacement switch, cable, and plug assembly I ordered finally arrived, rendering the question of how best to splice a left-oriented micro switch -- since most micro switches seem to be right-oriented, these were the devil to find -- to the old plug moot.
