I know it’s not a Guzzi but it sure is a nice bike.
Traded a Beemer btw and shout out to Baxter Cycle in Marne Iowa, one class act!

p.s. I had them put on a belt drive so no more chains!

Baxter has been satisfying customers a very long time. That is the one to buy, now get the big bore kit.

They are nice bikes. How much of a job is it to convert it to belt drive. I converted my T120 to belt drive. The kit was almost $900 and it was a bit of work to do the installation. The swing arm had to be removed which took a special tool which I made. A protuberance on the trans mission also had to be ground off which was fairly difficult to reach with a grinder. To me it was worth it, the chain was a pain. It didn't stretch after the first adjustment but sure made a mess and I know all about chain wax but I didn't feel that it did an adequate job.

The newest chains do not need any lube. Personally, I prefer chains over belts.

Neat! Baxter Cycle is great, one of the Good Guys in the old Britbike world.

They added it and the cost was $515 and I think 2 hours labor
Thanks

Interesting idea. Belts last longer and cost less than chains. If you ride over 50,000 miles you will recoup your investment.

Hah that’s probably right but at $500 cost it was worth it to not have the maintenance of a chain.
Rather ride than wrench, even though cleaning and oiling a chain is hardly wrenching.
Anyway YMMV

A Belt Drive. I never knew that was an option?
All the ones I see are chain final drive.
-
The belt system I have is made by RS Tech and is well made.
I think it was $515 for the 2 sprockets and belt. I also went up a “tooth” in the front for a little less RPM highway riding.

The kit that I put on my T120 had no option for different sized pulleys. I don't remember the name of the company that made the kit but it was in Italy of all places for a British bike.
