Title: '07 Norge handlebar re-locate.
Post by: LooseTheGoose on August 28, 2025, 02:30:19 PM
Now to the group, glad to be here.  Just bought my first Moto Guzzi, an '07 Norge GT (with electric windshield).  Love the bike but would love it more if had slightly less reach to the bars.  I don't need them higher, just back a bit.  Anyone know of a way to do that?

Thanks!

Best way is risers if you can find a used set of Heli-Bars. I have those on my 07 Norge.  World of comfort difference.  Or less expensive 1 inch risers made for it.

The kicker as I see it, is not just the reach, but the bending of your wrist if you want to put the flat of your palm on the grip(s). Removing the up/down switches and installing a two way switch on the panel below the left ‘bar is the way I went. This results in a total reduction of 80 mm in the ‘bar width, which also reduces the reach.
The reduced fatigue of having your palm evenly resting on the grip, really starts to show after a long day.
Y’all can see it here.

I have Heli-Bars on my Norge which will be pretty hard to find, but does anyone know if the later Norge bars will fit on the early bikes?
