Title: ring gap spec
Post by: realgone on September 05, 2025, 01:10:24 PM
Hello, I am installing a set of Meteor/Caber nikasil big bore cylinders and pistons on to an Eldorado.

Is the spec for the ring gap as per shop manual, or is it different for these kits?

thank you

Doesn't show a gap spec just says there ready  to go. I personally would run .004" per inch of bore on cast rings. My $.02.

Wont the rings come already gapped for the cylinder kit?
