So the 850T has no indicator warning light and I am always leaving them on.
I was thinking of adding a bright LED around the dash but now thinking of a beeper/ buzzer.
Have seen someone wire in a buzzer to left and right indicators with some diode in line that only allows flow one way but as electrical work is a dark art to me has anyone got a suggestion?

I do not know if it is available for a guzzi, but there may be "noisy" relays that are made to be audible.

On a few customer Guzzis, I have wired the high beam light to function as a signal indicator. Greg Bender fixed me up with a harness to do it.

Kiwi Roy posted a circuit diagram and a link to an appropriate (and still available) buzzer back in 2017:

You'll also need two 12 volt diodes rated greater than 10ma, available from Digikey, as referenced by Roy.
Search is your friend. :)

I have changed my mind and recommend that you get the harness mentioned by Charlie, from Greg Bender. If you don't know, he is at thisoldtractor.com. I guess that this modification merely lets the existing dash lamp function as a turn indicator when the high beam is off. When the high beam is on, the dash lamp probably does not work as a turn signal indicator. This seems fine to me, but you should clarify how it will work when you contact Greg Bender.
The reasons I am changing my recommendation are that I could not find a prepackaged solution in an internet search, and that I believe from having done the search that many people don't do a good job on their own. If you are comfortable soldering a diode in a wire that will be subject to vibration, then go ahead.
Greg Bender's solution also avoids the problem of where to put the new indicator light or the buzzer.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions
