Title: Norge Cataracts
Post by: Haioku_Mantan on October 13, 2025, 02:34:09 AM
Hi All,

Newbie question on the headlights - are the low beams supposed to be milky like this or is this some sort of condensation/haze on the projectors?

I was going to replace the normal bulbs with a set of OSRAM Nightbreaker Lasers (H3) but halfway through noticed this and wanted to make sure. Also, when replacing the bulbs, what does this blue wire do? I'm assuming its ground?

Thanks! Every other pic I've managed to scrounge off the internet has shown both sets of projectors being clear so was wondering.

Are your headlight/projector covers also milky like mine or clear?

Stock standard ‘07 Norge, nothing special, original globes.

Haioku, I tried to reproduce your shot, but still seems brighter than yours.  2008 stock.
The engine wouldn't crank if battery is low.
Maybe bad connection?

Thanks for that but was looking to see what the projector lens looks like when its NOT lit up. Should it be clear or whitish/cloudy?
I just replaced the bulbs yesterday including the parking lights but didn't want to mess with the projector glass until I know I need to polish them.

Milky cloudy is indeed the stock configuration.

I suppose I should read the whole question next time.
I can't get the same shading as yours, very dependent on ambient lighting.
