Title: 850T Mufflers
Post by: GuzziNZ on November 23, 2025, 03:45:36 PM
Looking for a Dunstall style muffler for my T.
Can only get 700mm long with 41mm inlet in NZ and the H pipe is 42mm OD. Apparently i will also have issues clearing the foot brake shaft and axle but the attached picture shows
A long tapered muffler that looks like it clears
Anyone know the brand?

Possibly this one? However, the inlet is still only 1 5/8"/41.275 mm.

It's a simple thing to get an exhaust shop to stretch the ends out to match up. But you probably shouldn't do that with borrowed mufflers

That link looks like the version I can get here but my picture seems to show a longer muffler.
I'll keep looking or stick with standard

They sure look like the Emgo mufflers that came with my 850T when I purchased it used years ago. They look good sound good without being too loud and were relatively inexpensive. I have no idea if they are still available though.

I have through two sets of Emgos over the years on the T-3. Getting a good fit at the H-pipe can be a bit if a challenge. Had many compliments on the looks and sound.

Sorry posted the wrong pic earlier. Here's the T-3 with the Emgo mufflers.
