Ok. I will send frank some money for Dues. All the donation I’m put out plus food I need at lease 10 to show up so I can get rich putting this Rally on ha ha. Just to see my Guzzi friends Rudy
-
Some of the most beautiful roads I’ve ridden on.
-
If I show up on an R90S would I be welcome? Not many airhead events in AR.

Didn't make it last year, I read that lodge might be closed? Where is the nearest lodging or hotel/motel?
thanks
-
I well check about lodge. Cedar fall motel just down road or Morrilton & Russellville if you come up the back side of mt. Nice curves road and in bottoms. I like it better but view not much but fun. Front way to Morrilton real good view.Rudy

Lodge rooms closed until further notice. There are a few cabins left, but they are expensive. https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/petit-jean-state-park

I'm in . Got a place at Cedar Falls Lodge.
-
It’s too late to change location, nebo mt. has bed & breakfast but some rider don’t want to ride up. For me I enjoy it(about once a month) not for the fane of heart. They do have some kind of tent cabins down by the lake PJ. some stayed last year. Rudy

Fair warning...site 65 for me & the pooch.

To be clear, the Lodge at the State Park (where the restaraunt is located) has no rooms as they are rebuilding. They do have a few cabins left for the dates of the rally. https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/petit-jean-state-park
The Cedar Falls Motel is a seperate place. It's an older mom and pop place just down the road from the Park Lodge, and it still has a few rooms open: https://www.stayatcedarfalls.com/ (https://dynamic-media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-o/17/40/1c/75/this-photo-doesn-t-capture.jpg?w=1400&h=800&s=1)

We stayed there last year. Clean rooms. Very quiet. No issues.

My wife and I are planning to come and are really looking forward to it! We’re planning to tent camp, but it looks like most of the sites are RV setups. Are any other tent campers planning to share sites, or will we be the only tent folks? Either way, excited to be there and meet everyone.
-
We have site 84 and will be hammock camping. My wife, Holly, will be on the quota, and I hope to be on the cal III touring. :thumb:

This is a different location, the old fools on a hill event has a steep climb to the top, it’s called Mt Nebo. This is east of that location about 25 miles.

If people don’t want steep mt. Ride, come up the south side, off Hi. Between Perry & Ola. I think around Casa & Odona. If want a curves and no bluffs come up from centerville on west side. If want to fly in airport just across the lake from the park. I will come pick you up. Come one come all. Feed Friday nite Sat. Breakfast & Sat. supper. Coffee water & tea.Rudy

Year 2000,I did the Fools on a hill thing---it was Sat just about dark when I got there(short rally)!I had just bought a Convert(because of the hi/lo transmission)when I realized it was a snow covered road +steep, I thought I"d be camping by the stop sign at the bottom of Mt.Nebo.However not to be wimpy I had to find a way up the hill. The road was snow packed yes however a 4/6 inch bare patch ran up the middle. This was my first trip on a Guzzi+the bike had been in storage six years,I just road 500mi.but I knew nothing about pulling power,I was pulling a heavy loaded camper------This is what makes FUBAR--FUBAR(I am still gloating)!!! Putting the Convert in low range I thought if I could maintain 3/5 mph without stopping I could do it--watch for on coming traffic the road is narrow.Honestly I could have pulled 3 campers up that hill, yes there is that much power.I climbed to the top of Mt. Nebo without incident set up camp---turned on electric blanket/propane heater, made it to the fire to start tellin lies like your supposed to do.Life is great no!!---Laying in my comfy camper I got a panic attack, how the hell was I going to get to the bottom of Mt. Nebo? Every one knows a Convert freewheels plus the trailer with only rear brakes on ice down a mountain, looking at the situation I was in,hey it"s only about one mile.On the down hill side foot on brake,lo range I did not move--#1 a Convert does not freewheel it has back pressure,I had to give it throttle all the way down the mountain----I truly have a lot of respect for the Convert.Anyone who was there I would like to know your name as I was a newbee then, I did not know whom I was camping with just sayin----

@fubar guzzi.... you the man.

Planning on making this rally, provided I get the Ambassador put back together. The bike hasn’t bee ridden for 15 years…a work in progress. This is my first Guzzi (long time airhead rider) and will be my first Guzzi rally.

Last year was a good time. The weather was delightful. This year circumstaces will have me in Washington state. Sorry, Rudy, I can't make it, but I encourage others to try.

my friend John and I will be in site 81.
At least 3/4 of the camp sites are gone already. Popular place.
-
Last year I camp up front where everyone could see me, this year I’m kinda in the back. I went to camp ground about 6 weeks ago and had 3 camp sites open. I got the best that was close to the toilet. Look for me in same camp area Rudy

Rudyr I just sent PM to you about the Apr 10-11 rally. Could you respond about campsite availability for a ClassC RV? Preferably with H2O and 30 amp electric hook up? Thanks DRDWB

We did get into the web site and found open sites in campground C for the dates, but campground B only has sites available for the 8th & 9 th, I was wondering if you guys have a group of sites together for the rally on the 10-11th.
Our plans ( weather permitting ) 1 get south enough from Minnesota to get warm, 2 is to meander around Arkansas or further south wherever necessary to accomplish goal one. And the rally dates just happen to coincide with the end of our trip before we head back north. So if we can meet some Guzzi folks along the way it would be great.
-
My buddy and I will be camping in one tent, are the sites large enough to share ?We aren’t making reservations and would like to set up with someone ,if we come, always weather permitting coming from WI.

Still no info on National Guzzi site about Apr 10-11. Registration info, rides, meals, BEER included or BYO everything? Some info would be appreciated.

No fee’s or registration come as you like. 50/50 & donations. Food better than mc Donell but not as good as tx road house. The lodge has a bar, don’t know the hours, can buy beer or what ever in Morrilton ( about 18 miles) Rudy

That’s covers about everything I need to know. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure this wasn’t a by invite only thing. Lately I’m not seeing as many Wisconsin, MOKAN, Iowa type formal rallies.
We’re hoping travel / weather permits us to check it out. We’ve spent a little time exploring Northeastern Arkansas and found absolutely great riding, now looking forward to checking this area out.
-
Our reservation is confirmed at the https://www.stayatcedarfalls.com/
See all of you there.
