To my iPhone. It did connect once last year but won’t connect/pair up to my iphone model 16e (Bluetooth). Anybody else have same problem or know of the fix??
-
Have you simply tried turning the iPhone off and on? Mine is about worthless for Bluetooth connections. I have to power it off and back on for it to pair up with anything.
-
Yes I’ve tried that. Deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it to. No pairing success!!!!

Bob, you might check on the ADV v85 thread. It's been discussed a lot but results seem to be bad for most.

When I finally got mine to work it was not worth using. Doesn't work again anyway.
I don't even think about it anymore.

The most recent Iphone I bought a few years ago has always been next to worthless at Bluetooth pairing. At first, I thought it was the device/motorcycle/car/Bluetooth speaker, etc. but it's always the phone. It will never pair reliably unless i turn it off and then back on...presto! It pairs with the device automatically then. You'd think it would be a simple software fix, but it never changes. I despise the damn thing and am going to switch over to a Samsung/Android phone. I'm sure they have their own set of issues, but I've had it with Apple products. It's all form over function with them.

Thanks Mike. My new iPhone Bluetooth connects to all my Bluetooth devices EXCEPT the moto guzzi MIA. I even tried Peggy’s phone (year older iPhone) with same results. Geeezzzz. Thinking stop by the dealer tuesday

I got it! Deleted the app, reinstalled it, turned everything on off multiple times. None of it worked. What worked?
I went into my Bluetooth settings. Found “BT ROUTER” and deleted it from my Bluetooth selections. Then I restarted everything (turned bike on and when the phone found the bike MIA’s Bluetooth, I restarted everything paired it and now it works.
I turned bike off and re started it and it connected automatically with my phone! Woo hoo I’m not as old and dumb as some say! Yay Bob

What does the MIA come up as on your Bluetooth menu?
