The previous owner got rid of the airbox and installed these pod filters.
I believe the jetting remains stock, though.
Recommendations? Do I need velocity filters? Are there better pods I should be using? Are there good jet sets to purchase?
Thanks!
Nitin

I don't understand why owners ditch the original airbox. I always hear about how hard it is to get the boot to seal, but a little Ultra Black RTV takes care of that issue. It's not rocket surgery.
IMO, those filters are a bit small. I used to recommend an oval K&N, but they're getting hard to find and increasingly expensive. Now, I use Uni Filter foam pods attached to the original "velocity stacks". It looks like someone has cut yours down, better than none I guess.
Jets don't come in "sets", you'll need to purchase them individually. You really shouldn't need to change it much, if any. Usually just raising the needle one notch is all that's necessary in my experience.

As always, thanks Charlie.
Think it's worth getting something like this and adding new filters? https://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3201

I have those and these K&N filters on my Convert (VHB 30 carbs).

These are the foam filters I mentioned: https://unifilter.com/online-catalog/clamp-on-air-filters/

I use the Uni pod UP4152 foam filter with a pair if 850T3 velocity stacks that I turn down to the same OD of the carb body. Then you can slide the filter on with the velocity stack inside.
