I need to replace the electrical switch for my rear brake pedal light switch but could do with some guidance from anyone who has done this on their bike.
Looks like a fairly easy basic electrical switch with a connector to part of the wiring loom but I would like to know the best way to access the switch and wiring to remove it and replace with new. Had a brief look at my bike and the part appears to be quite well hidden so advice required please on what needs removing to allow access.
Thanks in advance.

Haven't worked on one for +10yrs but think you have to take off side frame plate & plastic side cover and it's mounted on frame or back of side plate. Remove master cylinder to change switch. Wiring goes up into the battery box & connects to loom by R/H side frame under side cover.
If I'm not correct, someone here that owns one will correct me.

This is the only photo I have. It's from my Stelvio. Just to give you some indication as to what is behind the plate.
