Long shot but I’m going to ask anyway.
The bike is a V7ii. After taking the clutch housing off I managed to do some damage to the neutral switch. I had assumed I broke the wire inside the sheath, so I ordered a new one.
Now that it’s here, the plug end might be wrong, or it might be showing me what I actually broke.
If anyone here happens to now or in the past to have their switch out and can verify:
Does the switch plug side have one male and one female connection, or both female?
I am trying to figure out if the both male ends I see on the bike harness side is actually a broken connector jammed in the plug.
I don’t want to dig it out if I’m just doing damage to the harness side.

I just checked my V7 III Rough. The neutral switch was shared on the small blocks from at least 2012 up to 2020 (there was a superceded part, though around 2018, maybe). On my V7 III Rough, the bike-side plug has one (maybe 2?) female receptacles, but the plug on the switch side has only one male blade.

Thanks, very much appreciated.
My break then must be the male blade from the switch side has broken off in the bike harness side.
This is what I suspected. I’ve been trying to de pin this damn thing all morning. I hate connectors lol.
Thanks again!

Look at it this way—if you can’t get the piece out of the pin receptacle, you’ll have the opportunity to splice on your next connector to a length as long as your heart desires!

I’ve got my replacement switch here, and I just ordered new plugs, I have a feeling the blade is jammed in and blocking the release. I may have to cut the plug off and remake it.
Fun. All because I forgot the plug was there to start with!
