This episode was released a couple days ago. Haven’t listened to it yet, but will hopefully get around to it today.

That was enjoyable.  Greg is such a nice, and knowledgeable guy.  Got to know him when he lived back east.  He would show up at rallies, etc.  To this day, if I need something or have a question he's still an email or phone call away.  I'm sure he still lurks here on occasion.

I share with him also DR350 love, so doubled my pleasure!

He was great to work with when I got a wiring harness from him for the T-3. When you have questions he does not come at all across as annoyed or condescending, in fact comes across as glad to hear from you. Many major companies could take customer service lessons from him.

I'm watching the Podcast right now. I've met Greg many years ago when I bought a couple of Eldorado fenders from him face to face. Just a wonderful person to deal with.

I watched the video. I remember meeting Greg at at least one or two ralleys some 20-25 years ago. If I remember right his dad used to write articles for the MGNOC newsletter.

Got to hang out with him (and Mark E., Cam, Dave and bunch of other "Loopers") at the '05 WV Rally in New Cumberland. He was living in Florida at the time and rode non-stop up to the rally on his Ambo. That's Greg in the blue shirt.

A very good interview.

It is amazing how just a few dedicated individuals can change so much for the better in the world of classic Guzzi.  Greg is definitely one of the bigs.  It is not fun to contemplate working on old Guzzis without This Old Tractor and his wiring harnesses.

Just bought a full wiring assembly for my T3 from Bender. Had to watch the video just to see the person behind this well crafted harness and associated bits. Really wanted to know about the cabinetry in the background. Seemed there was a full row of Caterpillar (?) earth movers in glass display cases behind him. Has to be a story behind that.

I sent Greg the original wiring harness when I restored this Ducati scrambler several years ago.  He duplicated it and made a new one for me.

Did Greg ever work for Moto International in Seattle? Or was it a different Greg?

Greg Field worked for Moto International, he also wrote "Moto Guzzi Big Twins" which came out in 1998. He left Moto International before they closed.

That’s the Greg I was thinking about, very helpful guy. Thanks for correcting the memory glitch there.

In any case the Greg Bender interview was great. He sounds like an authentic Guzzi guy, probably has a pair of red suspenders.
