Title: instrument bezels

I'm looking for a source of bezels for the 70s and 80s Veglia gauges. 88mm outer diameter. Any idea where I can find them?

    Joel Levine @ j14Levine @ aol.com.   He has repaired my instruments and can make your bezels.

Chrome or black? They'll be listed as "80 mm".

Approached Joel maybe 10 years ago for bezels. He said he didn't want to sell bezels, just sell instrument service. I'd get a new bezel only if I had him service my instrument.

I need the 88mm outside diameter bezel - black. If chrome, I can scuff it up and paint.

I sort of recall the same about Joel - must have contacted him years ago.

It looks like they're available on ebay, but close to $50 with shipping. Seems they used to be like under $20 in the past.

Maybe I should figure out how to make them myself. I recall telling a machinist friend that I'd like to learn metal spinning so I could make bezels. He said he'd make one in the lathe, since that's what he knows.
