I have a 2015 V7II VIN ZGULWUA02FM200345 Verde Camo with chrome exhaust.
I thought it is a Stone, but all I can find about this model all have black exhaust.
What model is it?

No, the Heron Head models all got chrome exhausts (other than the Stornello, but that wasn't black either).
The black exhausts started on Hemi Head V7III and later models.

Here's a pic notice the side covers are flat.
It's also not ABS which is great.
I removed those awesome stickers and pipe wrap

Piaggio/Moto Guzzi file VIN ranges with NHTSA. Per their records, that VIN works out to being a V7 II Stone

Ok thanks. I noticed all the Specials had chrome exhaust

If it's a V7II it should HAVE had ABS. Was it removed or were there actual early V7II's that didn't have it?!?

Easiest way to tell if it’s a 6-speed V7 II or a pre-2015, 5-speed V7 Stone/Racer/Special is to look at the dash: if it has the two yellow lights by the ignition, it’s a V7 II. If it doesn’t, it’s a pre-V7 II, and should also have a 5-speed gearbox and the engine mounted upward slightly.
Edit: the two yellow lights are ABS warning and traction control. So no lights = no ABS or TC.
Pre-V7 II:

no yellow lights. I haven't ridden it yet to check the trans. Probably a pre II
-
Sorry I should have picked up on the fact you said it was a 2015.
In North America the 2015 was the last year of the MkI.
The V7II was in our market only for 2016.

So, my bike is a V7 or V7I?

So, my bike is a V7 or V7I?
Edit: I still think I’m right, but it’s not worth arguing over.
Technically neither exists. The first wave of V7s was the V7 Classic and was basically a Baby Breva dressed in retro styling. They had two throttle bodies. The Cafe and first Racer soon followed.
The second wave received a single throttle body and different valve covers and cylinder fins. These were the first Stone, Special, and the second Racer.
The third iteration is the V7 II, but I guess the 6-speed, engine mount change, loads of new internal parts, and addition of TC and ABS warranted the classification in Guzzi’s marketing mind as the definitive second generation of these modern retro small blocks.
Your bike looks to be that second iteration of the ‘first generation’, as noted by the matte-colored tank, the final styling of cylinder fins and valve covers that ended after the V7 II range concluded, and, you should have a single throttle body.

Jeez mate.
Could you take a half decent photo ?

So, my bike is a V7 or V7I?
Don't listen to Dirk.
It's a V7I.
Why?
Because it's the first generation of the revised single throttle body Heron Head smallblock.
The previous generation was the dual throttle body Heron Head.
Yes technically Guzzi didn't start numbering them until the V7II.
BUT logic dictates that if you count backwards the previous one would be "V7I" since that started the modern line.
A few try to argue the V7C should be "MkI" but it was the end of the previous line (yes the Nevada and Breva 750 etc), and arguably the inspiration for the current line which has a lot of differences. But if it was the start of the current line the V7II and III would be called something else.
I guess you could call the V7C the MK0.5 if you really want, or the 2TBMKI vs the 1TBMKI.
It's all pedantic BS anyway.
In the end, one thing is certain,, you don't have a V7II, you have the first generation of the single throttle body motors.

I understand agree. NHTSA says it's a V7II Stone based on the VIN
I will get some pics as requested when I get a few things tidied. This my 5th Guzzi two V50's 1, cafed and the second made to look like an original V7 (My Favorite), Breva 1100 , Breva750 and now my mystery V7

Nice score!
I often wish I still had my 2015 V7I Special, but you can't keep them all, even though I try.

Correct Kev, like always!! It is what it is.

Love that V50 "sport". :thumb:

dealer here, ran your VIN, you have a V7 I. The US only got the II in 2016.
V7 STONE VERDE US '15, use the 13-15 Stone catalogs

Thank you

I could take one of them off your hands for you if you like…

If your Stone wishes to identify as a Camo Verde so be it. I saw a Ford F350 Dually that identified as a Prius. The times we live in.

V7ii has ABS, TC and the 6 speed transmission with Heron Head, and single Throttle body and was a 2016 year model only AFAIK, at least in the US. The problem with trying to diagnose by looking at things like fenders, side covers and seats is that they're so easily interchangeable.
If it has a 5 speed trans, is a 2015 or earlier
