Title: 2026 V7 Sport tires
Post by: Hope 4 V7 on April 15, 2026, 02:05:54 PM
Hey, guys (and gals),

Looking to pick up a 2026 V7 Sport. Concerning the specs, though, I’m seeing that some are listing the tires as tubed, others tubeless. Can someone clear that up for me?

I see that the 90° air stem is listed as ‘tubeless’ but the tire description doesn’t reference whether the tires are tubed or tubeless.

Thanks,

Jim

100% tubeless.

I can't think of a Guzzi or other brand cast, non-spoke wheel, that required tubes in the last few decades.

Yes the tire may be used in tube or tubeless applications, but the  smallblock cast wheels do not require tubes.

It's so expected that I wouldn't expect to see it spelled out in the specifications.

Looks like tubeless mags.

I could be wrong, but I think he’s asking about the tires themselves. That said, it would be pretty goofy of Guzzi to offer a tubed* tire as the stock tire on a cast tubeless rim on a ‘premium’ line. I don’t know for sure, but I bet this is another fail for the AI writeups.

*I wasn’t paying attention and first wrote tubeless.

Now I’m curious what the last cast wheel was that required tubed tires.

The specials with spokes come with tubes. The cast are tubeless. That's why they say both.

Many (most?) tubeless tires also say ok to use a tube when installed on tube type wheels.

A few years ago this subject came up while looking over an old boy's shiny new HD with a 19" spoked wheel.  He was adamant there was no tube in that front wheel because - "looky here!!!  IT SAYS TUBELESS RIGHT HERE ON THE TIRE!!!".   Bwahaa.
