For my V9 café bike, I plan to swap out the V9’s lower frame rails for a set from a V7 III. I’m assuming that even with the foot control relocation brackets that V9s like mine eventually received, the V7 III rails probably sit the controls back even farther still. Beyond that, I’m considering also adding rearsets at some point.
In doing such, how do I deal with the brake pipes? Add extensions? Remove and replace with custom ones? Is it easy enough to purchase stock brake pipe and bend/cut my own? Is there one universal or very common AN size for motorcycle brake pipes and fittings, or do I need to measure the pipes and fittings on mine to know what to get?
In the closeup photo below, purple is the location of the current factory brake line going to the ABS pump, yellow is where I presume the reservoir on the V7 III might be located, and green is an approximation for rear sets.

Orientate adapter to suit.
Alternatively, car mechanics deal with/replace 'solid' brake lines all the time - might there be a tame auto mechanic close by, that can offer assistance?

I thought brake line entailed both flexible and hard routing system of the brake fluid, thus why I used brake pipe. Brake pipe sounded intuitive and correct to me at least.
