Title: Shade Tree Guzzi Mechanic
Post by: Kevin M on May 03, 2026, 10:19:53 PM
I’m looking for someone that can adjust the clutch cable on a California II from the bottom. The clutch doesn’t slip, it just engages farther out than I like.
I’m in central IL, I can ride most anyplace.

Well, if you decide to ride to New Mexico, I can adjust it for you.   Nice riding weather at this time of year.

Maybe see if one of the guys here can walk you through the procedure by phone with face time.
You can arrange something by PM??

Anyone here have a copy of the  Tune-up Guide for a Shade Tree Mechanic that Frank W printed up years ago. To help out Eldo, Ambo, loop frame guy's?   I have a copy, not for sale.
