Title: 850 LeMans
Post by: PeteS on May 10, 2026, 02:58:25 PM
I have owned this ‘76 bike since 1978. I ride it hard having done at least 20 track days on it and strafing curves with friends. Its been off the road since 2017 just sitting in my machine shop waiting for space in my garage. The lawn is way too soft to try and push it, so I put in my tiller battery, added some fuel to the tank and it started second crank.
Its been doing that every spring since I have owned it. I love this bike.
Only problems now are petcocks are leaking and it needs new fuel line, already ordered.

Bike is 50 years old, and in two years you have your 50th anniversary

Very cool.  I’m glad to hear other people do this.
