Title: 26 Sport miracle

Just look at this pic. That’s actually real grease oozing out of the steering head. 

Of course then the screw head on the top shock mount snapped off after two turns out and less then 5 pounds force.

"Mir" is short for miracle. The factory put enough grease in the bearings for it to be oozing out.   :shocked:

Should have put some of that grease on the shock bolt.

Was talking to Jim Hamlin about the upper shock mount bolts snapping.  He says the factory uses copious amounts of loctite on them.  They heat up the bolt head to soften the loctite before removing.

Those darned upper shock bolts. I suspect Guzzi sources them from China, who obviously use poor quality mozzarella in their alloy.

I couldn't even get the remains out with an easy out. I finally had to drill the whole thing out.
