are there any special tools I need to replace the fork seals on WP forks on my Centauro?
-
From memory, always dangerous at my age.. no.
-
Have to do mine as well; have you sourced the seals yet?
-
seals came from MG cycle along with the brake pads that the leaky seal ruined.
-
Have a good look and make sure there isn't a stone chip on the tube.
-
Let us know how the rebuild goes so I can learn from you!
Thanks

Did you get the fork seals replaced? Need to do mine as well and looking to avoid some pitfalls. Did the seals from MG fit without issue?

WP has a lot of authorized service centers- mine is only 20 minutes away. They rebuilt both my '97 Sport-i WP forks and my '00 V11 Sport Marzocchi; also the '00 Sachs rear shock. I don't have the receipts handy but all 3 were a lot less expensive than I expected.

Reached out to the shop closest to me (G-Force Powersports, Lakewood, CO) via their “contact us” form, never got a response. Looks like I’ll do it myself….
