So this cal2 has 30’s on it and has open type pipes, factory air box. Runs ok, maybe a little soggy in first gear. Not a big deal but I set the valves and dropped a bowl to find a chewed up 60 pilot, 135 main and no atomizer. I had to give it the beans the other day to get away from traffic and it runs pretty good near WOT. I don’t know what needle it has or what position it’s in I know from my last bike that had PHF 36s with the exact same exhaust system by the way, it wouldn’t run on anything smaller than a 60 pilot. Lean burn 94 carbs. This is a 85 model. Should I try some 65’s and an atomizer? Ab264? I’d be fine leaving it as is or I’d be OK with trying to tune it a little bit. I don’t wanna go crazy. It starts and runs fine right now.

I’m a dummy. This must have the recessed AR atomizers up in there and my 36’s had AB’s that the main jet screwed into? I saw the needle tip and it had brass around it. I’m an idiot.

if you have the lean burns ( which I don't think were ever PHF 30 's ) then this is what needs to be changed to return to the normal spec. It will be the same part on all PHF carbs https://hmb-moto.de/Atomizer-Bush-round-type-PHF-36

I ordered a fresh pair of 62’s

My Cal2 has the Euro jetting 264 atomizer K23 needle . I have #60 pilot anything bigger you have to have mix screw barely open, mains are #150
This is with a 60/3 slide. My bike pulls a sidecar 125mph. Dunstall rep. & Mollossi pod air filters
Look up Euro setting in GuzziOlogy. Should also be in Cal2 supplement of shop man

My screws are out 2 turns or so, not crazy. Starts and runs ok, plugs are clean. 39 mpg. These 60’s are so boogered I wanna replace them. The orifice is going from like .237 to .244. Not huge going to 62 I think. Thanks so much!
