FIRST ANNUAL COLORADO MOTO GUZZI RALLY Aug 27 to Aug 30, 2026
In beautiful Hotchkiss, Colorado at the Delta County Fairgrounds. This is the Brand New portion of this Tale of Two Rallies Connected Through Time. This rally site has great amenities: shaded, grass camping; rest rooms and showers available 24/7; available camping hookups in the camping area (additional cost); motels and restaurants within walking distance; and of course great roads to ride in the area! Check out the webpage that has been created for this rally where you'll find information on Guzzi Bob and the Guzzi Bob Rally Fund, area hotels, other details, and more information about the Guzzi Bob Rally Fund: ColoradoGuzziRally.blogspot.com. More information will follow. Food is guaranteed for the first 100 people. That's kinda far away for me, both distance and calendar wise. 2000 miles each way for 3-4 day rally? I've done sillier things!

Took some pics of the Fairgrounds where the Colorado Rally will be next month. Great facility with shade camping, large central air conditioned meeting hall, walk to shopping, restaurants, and even walking/hiking trails right there at the fairgrounds(when you're not riding that is).

Big news for this rally! The rumors are true! The director and father of the MGNOC (Moto Guzzi National Owners Club) Frank Wedge will be at the rally this year! The last time I believe Frank was in Colorado was in 2009 when we held the National rally here in Salida. Great news for all you new and long time Guzzi riders to get to meet Frank. Departing Seattle next Friday. Slightly oblong rt to stay in the high country thru Central Idaho and The Tetons to hopefully not get heatstroke.

Yay! One day to until the start of the rally. Camping starts today(Thursday) with the official start tomorrow( Friday!). Last rally in Colorado was the National in 2009!. This should be fun

Yes...Here he is in 2021 and 2022 doing the same at Datil, NM. (That's his grand daughter and his little dog)
