Title: 2026 GRIT RALLY
Post by: Beaver on July 23, 2026, 01:15:40 AM
42ND ANNUAL GRIT (GUZZI RIDERS IN TEXAS) RALLY

WHEN:  Friday October 2 - Sunday 0ctober 4

WHERE: 15093 County Road 431 aka Jim Hogg Rd
It is on the corner of CRs 431 and 474 and the 2 driveways are on 474. Don't go by your GPS because it might take you to Neighbors house!

ACCOMODATIONS: Onsite tent and RV camping (no hookups); beds available in dance studio/bunkhouse, but must reserve one as these are limited; Tyler State Park is nearby but you must reserve a spot there also as they stay pretty full. Tyler Rose RV Park is down the street and they have some overnight camping spots for RVs and tents. There are about 6 motels in Lindale also. It's a good idea to reserve something wherever you decide to stay because this is "First Monday" weekend and everything gets booked up quickly and prices go way up!

WHAT TO EXPECT: All meals will be provided from Friday night to Sunday noon. Ken Hand will be making his delicious breakfast breads as usual on Sunday morning. All kinds of non alcoholic beverages will be available all weekend and you may BYOB.

The main event will be on Sunday. Lunch will be served about 11:30 and door prizes, awards, and 50/50 drawing will be given during or right after lunch so those who have to leave early won't miss anything.

You may come a few days early or stay a little longer if you'd like. You are always welcome here anytime.

I have many scenic routes of various lengths mapped out taking you to New York, Paris, or London. You can go to the Salt Museum where the building is actually made of salt blocks! You can see historic churches or Veterans Memorials and even try to find the GRIT brick at the Lindale Memorial.

Or you can just hang around here and visit. There is plenty to do and see and talk about so you won't get bored!

Hope to see you here! RSVP if possible

You may call or text me at 903.316.7720. Leave a message if it goes to voicemail because your name doesn't show up on my phone and I don't call unknown numbers.
