I ordered some from my dealer and they arrived today. While they look nice laying on the counter I have no idea how you guys are mounting them to the bike. Anybody out there offer some advice?
thanks

Ah... you are missing some bits. The new mirror should have a mounting bolt thingy( technical term) that screw into the mount in place of the chromed one of the old mirrors. The new mirror then slots in and is tightened up. There is also a rubber sleeve that covers the mounting

something like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330254971692#ebayphotohosting

Just got around to replacing the stock Norge mirrors.
About that rubber sleeve.
I'm concerned that it will just retain moisture and hasten the rusting of the threads, making them difficult to tighten in the future.
Any thoughts on this?

Exactly, those little bits are easy to overlook in the packaging. I didn't realize they were included until I called my dealer back and he told me to look further. Find all the parts and it's simple.
Didn't completely fix the blur from vibration issue, but they do look nice.

All this mirror talk reminds me of the Gumball Rally 1976.
1st Rule of Italian driving.
Have not seen this in years. Applies to Guzzi too.

lemanorge,
How much did the mirrors cost? If they aren't too pricey, I might order some.

Sorry for resurrecting such an ancient thread...I just wanted to ask if anyone has retroffitted the AP8104921 and AP8104922 on a 2009 Norge. Trying to pull the trigger on a set but I'm concerned about threading size mismatch between the different years.
