Im thinking about putting these on my bike to get rid of the vibes. I see MI has them for 35- each left and right. 70- seems like a good price, I heard there was a tricky part on installing them but dont recall what it was. Anyone know what that might be?
Thanks

Is that the mirrors and signals?
No trick on the 2009. On the newer NTX you need to remove some pressed on clips.

I have the 2009, i heard it was plug and play with the exception of one small difficulty which i cant recall-
-
It's not tricky, but the clips that hold the plastic panels are a PITA and very putzy to remove and replace. I spent most of the time dealing with those things. There are a couple pictorials in the ADVRider Stelvio thread.

Thanks for the info-Im a member of advrider too but think there are about 7000 posts on the stelvio. The bike seems to get better the more mileage put on it.

I don't know if things changed on the newer bikes, but I didn't need to take anything apart on my '09. The screw that retained the lens under it was removed and that was it. The blank off piece is nothing more than a lens that was painted. Once upon a time, MPH had a kit put together with the mirrors and euro signals. IIRC, the entire change tool about an hour. There was nothing difficult about it and I did not remove any body panels.

The '09's are a breeze. Plug and chug. By your signature, I see you have the 09.
I transferred mine from my '09 to the NTX. The NTX is a little more tricky with those lock washer thingys, but still only about an hour of 'bonding' time with the bike.

Appreciate all the replies. Im pretty handy but twisted throttle is 30 min from my house and their head tech is a former guzzi tech and mentioned if i bought them, he could put them on for about $100 or less.

The guys who said the 2009 is easy are exactly right. One screw each side, pop out the old blanking panel, pull the wire and connector down from the mirror, and pop the new ones in. I wouldn't pay anyone $10 to do it, it's too easy!

I just did mine. It's a 2011 and easy like the 09's. Great improvement!

Same here. 10 minute job on the '09.

Dave,
Message me. I'm not far from you in Attleboro. I did mine in about an hour if you want to save the $$ we can meet up and do it.

The signal lens is painted over, hit it with some scotch brite, the paint comes right off. I found some bulb sockets for a GM product that I altered, wired them up and installed in the lens. Cost about $10.00 to do. DonG ;-T

Thanks for the offer but Ive had mine done for over a year. I landed up having Razee do it while it was in for warranty work.
What year and color is your Stelvio? Dont see many around here.
