Title: Help on sizing for 2011 v7 racer grips
Post by: jcb72 on August 19, 2014, 01:53:22 AM
HI
I'm wanting to fit a set of POSH BESTON style GRIPS but before investing i'm trying to work out if they will fit, without taking the things off and measuring.
Does anyone know if they are standard 7/8 or "1"  or are they a different beast altogether.

thanks

BTW... the POSH grips are considerably thicker than stock.  So if you have smaller hands or prefer thinner grips, you may want to keep that in mind.  I like the Pro Grip 780s or the Tommaselli "Daytona" grips...

I know it's an old thread, but I do try to search before making a new one. SO if I get no response on here, you'll see me posting a new thread.

The question is about installing any aftermarket grips on the v&'s throttle tube. What do you guys do since the v7's throttle tube is grooved to accept the factory grip?

Thanks

Same as any other. Stick a compressed air nozzle between it and the throttle tube, blow and push.
