Title: Where can I buy this head guard?
Post by: nevinfs327 on January 04, 2015, 09:57:42 PM
Sorry for the cross post from GuzziTech - not sure how much forum overlap there is...

Hopeful someone can point me towards this head guard.  Have a pair of these on my '10 V7 Cafe and need to replace one (though assuming I need to buy as a pair). Flash from the photo obscures the Moto Guzzi emblem right in the middle.

Can't recall where I bought them 4 years ago, or find manufacturer info online. Here they are on an Aussie site: http://motociclo.com.au/products/bikes-related-items/bike-accessories/moto-guzzi/general-small-block/clone-small-block-fin-p (http://motociclo.com.au/products/bikes-related-items/bike-accessories/moto-guzzi/general-small-block/clone-small-block-fin-p).  Can these still be purchased?  Anyone in a similar situation with one good one?

TIA

Nevin

I think I saw these or something similar on Dave Richardson's Guzziology website or MG Cycle.

Motociclo still seem to stock them ($AUD 99).

I prefer the finebau forge ones - thicker, heavier, protect the spark pug & cap. Available from Ray (in the UK at rayjan140@btinternet.co.uk. 40 quid, I think. They work very well (ask me how I know).

Here's a snap of the V7C wearing them

Me too.  Saved my butt in rural Canada.
