Title: lemon 1000 tire thoughts?
Post by: oldmxdog61u on February 11, 2015, 06:24:20 PM: Love my 85 lemon, yes I like the ssmall front tire too.
I have run through another set of metzler laserteks which have been fine, about 5k or so. Question for you cognoscenti (italian roughly for suspender wearer) would you recommend?

I sport tour, and ride alot in summer ( ie 115f) and the rest of our year (70). Yup,,, nice temps.

The profile of the roadrider dramatically improved handling in tight twisties but even then it's not a great bike for that type of road. As another owner once said of the MKIV, it's a great bike over 40MPH.
