Title: Interesting wheel - no rim, active spokes.

This looks cool. A wheel with spokes that act like little shocks, and when powered, can propel the wheel down the road. Hmm.. put a seat and handlebars on a bigger version and ....

I can see the shortcomings: no self start, the steering process needs two units with alternating steps, and the stability at slow speeds. Well, maybe a internal gyro or two would solve some of those. Cool!

I can see the Isle of Man version already!  :D

According to my crystal ball, one day we will have a wheel that is completely round, and not need such gizmos.
