Title: Need photos of T3 gauge mount
Post by: jbell on March 01, 2015, 11:41:37 PM
Howdy, I'm putting a T3 gauge set on my G5 to get rid of that oversize G5 speedo suitcase.  I could use some photos of how the T3 gauge set mounts to the handlebars/triple tree/fork tops.  Thank que...........Jack.

No pics. to offer, but I believe it mounts to upper triple via cast lugs just like the 850T. The V7 Sport mounts to top of tubes. Good luck.

I'll be popping my instrument cluster off on my G5 (with the factory small cluster) within the next few days (dependent on time, and freezing factor in my garage) and I'll snap a few photos if no one else has yet.

Thanks for the replies.  It looks like they mount to the two little lugs on the upper triple tree as mentioned by Dick and shown in Sportsterleroy's photos.  I kind of though that but it isn't a symmetrical lineup so I wanted to check first.  Muchas gracias, compadres.....Jack.
