I'm looking to do a 6000 mile round trip. And I've always said I'm going to be more organized packing my bags. But I never seem to get to the organization part.
But before I commit to these little organizers I'd like some feed back if they are really useful and worth buying.

Jude and I used them on our Cali 14 trip around the U.S. in 2013. They were a godsend.

I have Eagle Creek Pack-its that I use for business trips (great for keeping shirts from getting wrinkled) but never used them on a bike trip. The odd interior shape of many hard bags does not lend itself well to squares, rectangles, etc. I found the method of rolling clothes to work best for the HB bags.

Packing cube?
Is that marketingspeak for "box"? If so, yes, I've used them. :D
-
What on Earth?? Please explain what you are talking about with these cubes?
-
These or similar - http://www.rei.com/product/866241/eagle-creek-original-pack-it-cube-set (http://www.rei.com/product/866241/eagle-creek-original-pack-it-cube-set)
I have used these for a few years. Got them for business stuff originally and then started using them on the bike. A very good product and a real help in organizing the bags for the bike trips.

The mesh cubes are particularly nice in that you can see what is in the bag.

Not those but I do use small zippered bags to keep things separate inside my duffle bags. Different sizes for different stuff. I get them at dept stores, REI, sporting goods, etc. Whenever I find a size I think will be useful. And don't overlook the craft stores. They have cloth bags of different sizes that are really cheap and useful.
Another one I like is the clear plastic zippered bags that bedsheets and other linens come in. And they are free, if you remember to keep them instead of throwing in the trash.

Plastic shopping bags are free and waterproof.
-
And I have used those, and plastic garbage bags as well.
One one of my first trips I didn't have a waterproof duffel. So, I got my canvas one out. Put a plastic garbage bag in it as a liner, then packed it. Folded the bag over and zipped it up. I still use that trick every now and then.

Having been a professional sailor most of my life, rolling my clothes is a normal thing to do.
I found it especially useful on motorcycle trips too, hard bags or soft.
-
I roll stuff, too..
-
These look like a saddle bag liner, or am I missing something?
Pack it, put it in the saddlebag, and remove with its' handle to carry your stuff in, like you would a suitcase.
