Title: WTB: Tail light mount for 2001 California

Do any of you folks happen to have one of these for sale...?

I checked with Gordon & Rick and the mount is out of stock.

I have not tried elsewhere, perhaps I will give Curtis a call at Harper's but I thought I would check here and put the word out.

Alternatively, if you plan on keeping your jackal for a while and don't mind spending a bit of money, the California Vintage bracket and tail light bolt right up. Did mine back in '07 and still like it.

Might just as well take the light too Curtis...  one stop shopping.  I would prefer a light with a socket and the pigtail in it.

Timely thread. Please pardon the hijack but what other options are there for bolt-on Jackal tail light replacements?

I did the same conversion on my Jackal. This is not a bolt on affair.

It requires grinding off the stock Jackal "shelf" on the fender. Some are able to grind off the shelf and not muck up the paintwork around it (I'm not one of them).  I ended up having to paint the fender.

In hindsight I would have left the shelf there and figured something else out.
