Title: Lever to handlebar choke?
Post by: pressureangle on March 09, 2015, 11:52:16 PM
My '85 LeMans IV has a lever and splitter to activate the chokes, which works fine. However one of the updates I've made is a hydraulic clutch, and have installed the clutch master/lever from (I think) an 1100 Sport or Daytona, which has a nifty little lever on the clutch master that you roll forward to activate. It appears to have had a cable clamp rather than a terminal fitting like it would need for a splitter.

Did Guzzi ever make a bike with this nifty handlebar choke routed to a splitter?

All my BMW's and the Ducati have the choke lever on the handle bars. I haven't built any control cables in years-many years but you should be able to purchase most of the stuff you need from a bicycle shop.  Its not that hard to do.
