Hey all, i've been riding the Breva a lot lately and here and there I get stuck in traffic like we all do.
I know that these engines are extremely robust, but I always feel bad about having the bike idling when moving at around 10-20 mph, it just doesn't feel like there is enough airflow to keep the engine from overheating. I'm not getting any excessive noise or anything, but every now and then the engine will smell a bit bad. I also know the engine will ping when it gets very hot, something else I'd like to avoid.
So... I know that the 8V norges have a fan on the oil cooler, would this part bolt up to a B11? I wouldn't necessarily need to hook it up to a thermostat and would be OK with running it manually.
Has anyone done this? thoughts?

You can use the norge thermostat, its just a thing to screw in the oil pan. Nothing else needed

Why not try it out first, get one or two surplus computer fans, they are 12V DC and push quite a bit of air in a nice flat package.

Why not take temp readings first and see if it's much ado about nothing.
Remember 10°F changes feel significant to flesh and bone but generally mean jack to metal.
