I just added a 2001 V11 Sport "Telaio Rosso" today.
Green is not my favourite colour for motorcycle but somehow I ended up with three green bikes.

I'm green with envy!

I rode the V11 Sport for the very first time today.
Although my Griso makes more power but the V11S is raw and roars, it fits perfectly into the void between the V7S and the Griso.
I am glad that I bought this bike without much thinking.
It has the thickest chest hair among the three ;D

Congratulations!
I think the V11 is gorgeous in that colour.
Three nice shades of green there, if I may say so.

I don't like green motorcycles either, in general, but I like your bikes, and I like how they complement each other .....

Beautiful bike! ;-T And your Griso is my favorite color scheme by far for that model. Wish they would offer it for 2015

Nice collection Phang!
Guzzi made a nice green colored Convert not to mention the T3, you have lots of options left to make it an even four!
Cheers

Apt description, Phang. I couldn't agree more. My V11 Le Mans was my first Guzzi, and it remains a unique and wonderful experience every time I ride it.
Cheers,

You're a bad influence, Jim. I'm blaming you for my Guzzi "problem". ;D

;D
I blame Nick,
His adventures has me thinking about something with a horizontal single, perhaps 500cc, red preferably and maybe hand shift to boot.

I am going to get into the S3 next month, the parts pile is accumulating.

Phang, over the years I've bought several vehicles that weren't the color I would have liked them to be. With one exception the color has always grown on me quickly, probably because of the trouble and expense of repainting a perfectly good paint job. :D Your new Guzzi is beautiful.

There was a V11 Sport with a sport fairing in a frost/sage green (a bit lighter than the Griso Tenni Green) that grew on me. The green SE Griso with the brown seat was a lethal combination and had to have it. ;D
Kawasaki green and the lime green Guzzi's; meh. Not my cup a tea. But hey, we got choices!

Thanks Jim,
The V11 Sport pee-d itself when I took her out two weeks ago. I smelled gasoline at the first traffic light junction 500 meters (yards) from my house. The electric fuel tap joint, injector joints, fuel pressure regulator joint were dry. I could see streaks of gasoline on the spine frame when peeping under the tank at the road side. Haven't lift up the tank to see what's going on yet but I think it is likely from the pressurised side of the fuel pump.
The previous owner said he instructed the mechanic to replace all the fuel lines and clips but I will redo it with the correct hoses and oetiker clips.
copy and paste from the email I sent to Vasco da Downunder last week.

Wow! Very impressive! :o ;-T ;-T ;-T
You have such good taste that if ever, you should consider a nice addition to the green team.....

A big grin on the first long-ish ride across the boarder in Malaysia a week before the leak ;D
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/Phang/v11%20sport%20a_zpshvxbycrl.jpg)
I slipped while pedalling away with my legs from the immigration check point booth after my passport is stamped and dropped the V11 right in front of the booth at the speed of 0.01 mph.
The engine started fine though a bit lumpy, while riding across the bridge towards Malaysia, I heard the left cylinder pinging and naturally I took a peep on the right cylinder, to my horror, I saw the right cylinder spark plug cable dangling in the wind.
My V11 has plastic after market spark plug cap, it shattered upon impact when I dropped it on the right side. For some reason the cylinder head guard didn't save the cap.
I continued to ride on one cylinder for a kilometer or so to a petrol (gas) station where my mate pillion me to a nearby town to buy a $2 replacement cap from a moped shop.
It fired right up after I replaced the cap ;D
