Title: clutch slave cylinder
Post by: dxhall on March 11, 2015, 09:09:55 PM
I had to remove the clutch slave cylinder on my 2003 Sport Naked to replace the hydraulic line.  As I was taking it off the transmission case, something fell out.  Under the lift I found a single ball bearing which could, I suppose, fit into the cup in the clutch rod assembly.  The parts book doesn't show it, though.  Anyone know if there's a single ball bearing between the piston of the clutch slave and the rod assembly?

Not unless someone put one there.

Hmm.  Where is there a loose ball bearing on this bike?  I can't think of any...

About 5mm in diameter? Does the front brake light switch use one?

Absolutely NFI!

5mm doesn't snag with anything I can think of either quickly or slowly?
