Title: Dyna Electronic Ignition for 1973 Eldorado
Post by: Phang on March 17, 2015, 12:52:58 AM
My mate bought a 1973 Eldorado recently and would like to convert the stock point ignition to electronic.

Which Dynatek model should he gets?

Thank you in advance.

No Dyna made for single point dizzy. Harpers had one for sale or you could check w/C5 to make one.

Thanks Steve, that cleared my doubts as I see Dynatek kit has two pick up Hall effect sensors instead of one that the Eldorado needed.

I will leave it to my mate, he probably will keep the stock set up but it is always good to have an option.

Thanks guys.

or you could put a dual point distributor, dual coils and a dyna (or die-now) ignition module in it...
