Title: Fuel Management Program
Post by: Gray Goose on March 17, 2015, 06:07:20 PM
I'm changing the stock exhaust on my 1998 V11 EV and replacing it with Lafranconi Competizione silencers.  I can't find a fuel management program designed for the '98.  Any advice?

Well w/it was new you could get a few different chips available. That was then.

I have a Techlusion fuel box on mine, only adds pulses to the fuel map. Mine has open airbox also.

I use my J O B very effectively for a fuel management system it has a very effective monthly threshold (non-adjustable)

welcome to the forum Gray.. advice? put on the pipes and try as is..
on the computer box is a trim dial that can be adjusted  (for idle and just off idle) if needed.. It's under a plastic cap.. don't turn it more than 1/2 turn and then ride so the change can be computed. if you have access to a Co sniffer it can help you to set the dial.
stay away from the power commander unless you just can't get a good tune and save the money for gas and tires.
