So, as you may recall, my brother bought a new Norge; http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=75280.0
I had hoped to get to see Michael take delivery while I was in Atlanta last week, but that was delayed until today (darn it).
But, Michael sent me this these pix today to prove he’d picked it up, and, as he’s a "younger brother," to rub in that he was riding and I, well … wasn’t. :-*

I really, really like that machine … and very much in that color. Gorgeous. Or, as I said in the subject line, Norgeous. :D
Having seen it up close when we just went up to take a look confirms to me how much better it looks “in real life.”
BTW, cannot say enough good things about Riders Hill and Ian, in particular. He did an outstanding prep of the Norge for Michael.

And, yes, Ian is a great prep/set up man.
And quite the restorer of old guzzi's too! (I bought his 1970 Ambo)

Very nice looking Norge, and lovely backdrop of cherry blossoms, very encouraging. And don't younger brothers love to rub it in , I get it all the time.

Looks great. You know what I thought when I first saw that colour scheme? Orca.
But it ain't no whale...
-
Hot damn, they did a NICE job on that. :bow

Mark , that's what we were calling Pete's 1400 when he was here . The standard phone conversation was "The Orca has landed" ;D Not sure he ever knew :D

Oh, that's a pretty one!
And I'd like to see that sort of weather, here, too . . . 16°F in the Pittsburgh area this morning . . .

It is beautiful! It looks better in those pictures than on MG's website...

That color combination is absolutely stunning. The colors really compliment the Norge.

Yes.
And, as mentioned, especially so "in the flesh."
I told my brother that it's like a Guzzi caffè corretto: the brown is a metallic espresso ... the silver, a shot of grappa. :D

If Guzzi offered that color scheme on other models and added more dealers, I suspect that they would draw some buyers away from other brands. The "right" color in a motorcycle or an automobile stirs something in the brain and like a pretty woman, it can make a man open his wallet. LOL

Heartily agree, the tennis green SE Griso with brown seat was a combo I could not resist.
-
I have to agree the others here...that is one fine looking bike!

Michael sent this to me earlier this afternoon while on his first official post-delivery ride south of town.
This, at "Cackle Corner," just south of the Atlantablob.
Yes, I have to talk to him about getting that neon helmet out of his pix of that beautiful Norge. ::)

I will be there again next week and hope to get to ride it.

I saw a root beer Norge in the flesh today at my local dealer. It looks stunning in person--far better than in pictures.
