Title: Harpers Outsider Oil Filter Coupling
Post by: Luxexterior on March 29, 2015, 11:01:08 AM
I'm not sure how I managed to do it but I have stripped the thread of the oil filter coupling on my Harpers Outsider thats fitted to my 1000SP. Does anyone know if the standard Guzzi oil filter coupling (in the sump) is the same fitting or is a suitable replacement for Harpers coupling?

Thanks in advance. ;-T

I don't have the answer for you, but I bet Harper's does. They probably have the piece you need. Good luck.

It turned out to be an impossible task to find the type of connector required for the Outsider in the UK. The best I could find was shorter & had a much bigger bore which led to a weeping leak from the oil filter.

Fortunately Curtis Harper came to the rescue & found me the right part from Harper's old stock. Fantastic service, I can't recommend guys these enough. If I was on the other side of the pond I would use Harpers for all my Guzzi needs. Thanks again Curtis :thumb:.
