Title: Stelvio Fairing Removal
Post by: smdl on March 29, 2015, 01:09:48 PM
Hi, folks.

I need to get to the GPS connector under the left side fairing of my 2012 Stelvio NTX, and am trying to follow the instructions in the manual for doing this.  However, it's difficult to understand what they are talking about   :beat_horse, and the pictures are too close in for me to get an idea of what they are actually depicting.  I only want to strip of as little as possible, right now, so I'm hoping that someone can tell me the most direct method of getting that left lower fairing panel off.  I'm told that the connector is right near the alternator on the left side.

I did try searching but couldn't find what I needed.

Thanks!

Shaun

I think the trouble I'm having is caused by the fact that the manual is for the older version of the Stelvio with the previous tank design.  Looks like some of the pieces are different.

Will keep exploring...

Cheers,
Shaun

Got it.  The forward fastener was a bit tough to locate and get at as my auxiliary lights have been relocated to just below the headlights.  All good!
