Title: notifications

On the Sundial board (Suzuki 2 strokes) whenever a new post is done on a topic, an e-mail is sent to all who posted on that topic to let them know. It includes a link to jump right to it, so you can see it with out having to log in and drill down to it. This board appears to use the same blogging software, so is it possible to enable that feature here. Would make it sooooo much easier to follow multiple topics and reply easier, be more useful and timely.

Luap got on that one quickly.   ;D

Look at the top of a topic box (to the right) and you'll see 'notify'.

On this board I'd expect my inbox to be inundated, if I turned on that feature.

I use it on the QA geek forum I haunt. It's an all or nothing function, you can't turn it on for one thread. Here I like the entertainment of hunting the forum to see what's changed.

Use "Show unread posts since last visit" and it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
