Title: F-18s overhead....

Took the Thunder-Thumper out for a cruise before lunch.  Love to take the frontage road that runs right under the landing path at Miramar Air Base.  Try to time it so a landing jet passes right overhead, about 200 feet above me.  What a rush!!  The pilots goose it right over the road to maintain landing speed.  Noise is indescribable.

I'll never grow up.

If "growing up" means coming not to appreciate such things ... may neither of us ever reach that state!   :D
