Just realized their is a Big downside to losing weight.....
My riding buddy and I decided to take a quick two day trip so I went out and grabbed my Aerostich pants. They no longer fit N the waist so I then reached for my Olympia riding pants.....nope they fell off to!
So can these be altered (waist) or do they have to be sent back to their respective company?
Thx N Advance

Just go on a three day BigMac diet before a trip.

Better than not being able to pull them up past your knees from too much weight gain. ;D

Go treat yourself to new riding gear. You deserve it.
Get leather. Leather never lies to you. If you start to backslide, your leather pants will be the FIRST to tell you so you can catch it early and get back right ... !

New gear.. ;-T

You guys are NOT good Guzzista , new gear , ??? :P Red suspenders are cheap and effective , sheesh :D

You're giving away the fact that you've always been in shape and have never lost significant amounts of weight! You can't adjust the old clothes ... especially riding gear. They always look baggy and are floppy and uncomfortable after you've lost significant weight, like 40 or 50 pounds depending on your body size.
New gear is like new tires on your bike. Feels so good!

Quick get a keg of beer!

Aerostich does have a repair and custom fit service.

I've used the Aerostich repair and alteration service a couple of times and they do great work. It's well worth the time and expense.

Congrats on dropping the lbs!

Disadvantages of weight loss:
--you are easier to kidnap.
--lower wind speeds capable of blowing you away
--harder to see you at a distance.
--smaller stomachs cannot hold as much ice cream or watermelon or beer
and the very worst:
--easier to confuse you with Justin Beiber :P

So what ever happened to VA Sean? Was he abducted and probed by that alien he's hugging?
-
These are the correct suspenders.

Nah, Sean's around, but stays very busy opening up and running his own gym, and still doing the lawyerin' gig as well.
He posts some on Facebook, but that's about it these days.
He's rumbled a few times about maybe selling his very nice Coppa Italia...

Buy new, gear that doesn't fit is a distraction and distractions are dangerous.
I have a severe weakness when it comes to quality gear, let's just say I have a problem. I have two Roland Sands leather jackets plus a Ducati Dainese, and sometimes I still wish I had that very cool Guzzi leather jacket. Plus assorted textile gear. I wear scrubs at work and consequently spend little money on non-moto gear so that is my rationalization.
