What are the valve clearances for a 2012 V7C. My manual says .10mm intake, .15mm exhaust. I have set them to that, runs fine, but still wonder if it has anything to do with a previously mentioned hard hot restart problem I have with it? I have seen other sources saying .15mm intakes and .20mm exhaust, which is it?

My copy of the OEM service manual for the 2TB V7C models says:
Intake Valve Clearance: 0.10mm (0.0039")
Exhaust Valve Clearance: 0.15mm (0.0059")
My copy of the OEM service manual for the 1TB V7 Stone/Special etc. (along with notes from Pete) says:
Intake Valve Clearance: 0.15mm (0.0059")
Exhaust Valve Clearance: 0.20mm (0.0079")
Maybe that's where the confusion came from.

Thanks, Kev m, as usual, your answers are well researched and reliable.
Now, I have to wonder. The 1TB engines aren't all that different from the 2TB engines. Are the revised valve clearances due to the revised 1TB engine, or are they the result of experience and would equally apply to the older 2TB engine?

The 2TB and 1TB engines share the same architecture but they do have differences. The compression was increased and the pistons are lighter, that much I can find in the press. I wouldn't be surprised if the valves have changed slightly, and the settings for the two engines are incompatible.
