Somehow, during our ride yesterday, the master cylinder cap came off of Leo's Convert, bounced off of his leg and into the weeds along Mountain House Rd. near Hustontown, PA, never to be found. A wasted 1/2 hour of searching. Seems to be a trend with him - he once lost a Bing carb float bowl off of his BMW R75/5 near Berkeley Springs, WV (I found that one after an hour of searching).
The master cylinder is the type with the plastic reservoir, common to many Tonti Guzzis of the era. The original cap was metal, but metal or plastic will be fine. Anyone? Thanks.

I need to look when I get home but I think I have one kicking around off the 850T.
Blaine P. and I were also in Hustontown yesterday on route 475. Went to look at an older K1000 in Maddensville. Nice area and close for me. Need to do a lot more exploring this year.

Thanks and let me know.
I saw that K100 on Craigslist. Leo and I were through Maddensville about 11:30-12:00.

We were there about 3:30pm.
The owner of the K bike was nice but there were some mileage issues. He has it listed at 38K as shown on the odo The title has 42K listed and its a 6 digit odo so it didn't roll over. The front disc's were very well worn and looked to have closer to 6 digit mileage on them. Rest of the bike seemed okay other than crusty and being a BMW. It is certainly in need of some elbow grease. But in the end it ended up a nice day and the K was just an excuse to ride somewhere.
Also if you still have carb 2 pumper springs I'll take you up on them. Vendor just called to imform me they are backordered.
