Hello there, does anyone have experience with the new (retro) style stucchi/lgc engine guards for the V7 series? I had a hell of a time installing them over the weekend as nothing seemed to line up. Just wondering if anyone had a similar experience or if I just got the pair made by the rookie. ???

I am waiting for some Agostini ones that I have ordered for my 2015 V7II, they are a different fit to the earlier models. Maybe you got the wrong model for your bike?

2-piece should be pretty straight forward. Did you download install instructions?
Cracks me up. They're touted as retro throwback to original V7 Sport crash bars. There were never any bars that wrapped around cylinders like that, much less the V7 Sport.
I went with the Agostini 1-piece for my V7 Special.

Hi Cam - anything else needed for installation? Frame support or just a straight bolt-on?

I assume you're asking about the Agostinis? Straight bolt on. Two up top with a threaded piece of steel that goes behind frame for bolts to screw into, and one bolt on bottom each side that replaces the lower frame bolt. Tricky part is getting the one piece bar around the headers and into place. Bit of a puzzle. The video on AF1's website shows installation of the older OEM one-piece crash bars. Be advised, they put them on backwards on the video.
